Growing up in the charming town of Port Hope, she has always had a flair for creativity, which led her to an extensive background in Interior Design, specializing in colour theory—an essential skill that seamlessly transitioned into her cosmetic tattooing work.

Claudia is the newest addition to our nursing team. She graduated from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in psychology. From a young age Claudia has always loved everything beauty and was delighted to discover aesthetic nursing, as it combines her love of nursing and beauty. In 2023 she decided to pursue her passion for Aesthetic Nursing by completing the Centennial College Medical Aesthetics Practitioner Program. Claudia has been working as a Labour and Delivery nurse for the past 4+ years and is thrilled to continue her aesthetic nursing journey here at Subtle Enhancements. Claudia may be a familiar face, as she completed her extensive one-to-one training with nurse Hilary here at Subtle Enhancements. She loves learning and is excited to continue to advance her aesthetic nursing skills and knowledge. She is eager to connect with you and help you reach your goals by creating natural results while enhancing your unique beauty. 

Outside of work, Claudia enjoys going to concerts, watching true crime series and swimming (fun fact she worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor throughout high school and university).

She has personally struggled with acne and acne scaring, making platelet-rich-plasma microneedling & subcision not only her favourite treatment to have done, but also to perform. She’s our microneedling champion at the clinic!

Hilary is a registered nurse, founder, and lead nurse injector at Subtle Enhancements. Hilary began her nursing career after she graduated from Fleming College in 2017 with a diploma in practical nursing. She started her nursing career working at the hospital on a medical/surgical unit and even worked as a street nurse serving folks experiencing homelessness. In 2022, she graduated from her nursing degree and became an RN. Her hopes are to pursue her masters/nurse practitioner in a couple of years! Hilary began her medical aesthetics career after she graduated with a certificate in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers from Ontario Medical Aesthetics, in 2019. Following that, she mentored one-on-one with an experienced nurse practitioner to hone her skills for 6 months. She went on to work at several well known Toronto medical spas while building Subtle Enhancements. Over the years she has pursued advanced courses for medical aesthetics and holds certifications for deoxycholic acid, advanced lip filler, facial balancing (8-point lift) with Erika Barry (@injectorbunny), specialized anatomy courses, sclerotherapy, Sculptra & Radiesse courses and many more!

Hilary is a complete animal lover and prior to nursing, worked with animals for a decade. Her true passion is helping rescue animals and has been a foster dog parent for many years. She’s even got 3 rescue pets of her own! When Hilary isn’t at work, you can find her learning something new, cuddling with her pets, traveling the world, or doing absolutely nothing on the couch (who doesn’t love this?!).
